The Community Health Center will include some outpatient clinics as well as some fully equipped hospitals with inpatient capabilities. Specifically, the following services will be offered and implemented in a step-by-step fashion:

  • Outpatient services
  • Infant and child welfare services including immunizations
  • Antenatal services
  • Deliveries
  • Postnatal services
  • Nonobstetric inpatient services for females
  • Inpatient services for males
  • Pharmacy services
  • Health education services

Additionally, clinics and hospitals will feature a fully equipped on-site laboratory, staffed by a licensed laboratory technician.

The medication formulary will be supplemented with medications from the United States and Europe for which we will obtain all necessary and legal permits. All medications a patient requires will be dispensed as part of the medical evaluation and will be included in the small registration fee, which will flow back into the respective Community Health Center to support staffing and maintenance. This means that patients do not have to travel to a distant pharmacy, attempting to fill a prescription which they will likely not be able to afford and which might very well not be available. While every patient will be expected to register in order to maintain complete and accurate records, we will work out special provisions for those who truly are not able to pay at the time of their presentation, as we will not – ever – turn anyone away.

Community Health Centers will be interconnected and will be able to serve the population seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, while non-emergent cases may be rescheduled via a triage system that ensures that the most severe cases receive the urgent care that is needed. Also, an ambulance will be available to transport patients, if it becomes necessary.

What makes every one of our Community Health Centers unique and steadfast, is that the community in which the health center is located has input into its management via a Community Board made up of members of the respective community and elected by the villagers themselves.

As mentioned, everyone of our Community Health Centers connect to each other via our mobile clinics. This will also occur in a step-by-step fashion. Additionally, these fully-equipped mobile clinics, offering the same care as the stationary Community Health Centers, will be dispatched at regular intervals to reach the distant provinces which are desperately cut off from medical care yet mostly in need of it.
